The PetSafe Deluxe PRF-304W Dog Containment system is PetSafe’s middle of the line offering. It has four corrections settings and a nice designed collar with a nylon band and a buckle style clasp.
The PetSafe collars are intercompatible. This means if you need to you can use a collar from the Petsafe stubborn dog system or the PetSafe Little Dog system if you have dogs with different needs. In addition you can use the system with the Petsafe Indoor transmitters to keep the dogs away from a small area.
The Petsafe Deluxe model is however underfeatured for the price. There are none of the extras which we would expect on a system north of two hundred dollars. There is no collar check or rechargeable feature (like on the Innotek IUC-4100). Instead there is a proprietary battery, that gets a decent 5-6 months of life (more if you switch it off every day).
Like all the PetSafe models it is covered by a lifetime warranty on parts and a one year warranty on labor, what PetSafe calls a limited lifetime warranty.
