The Innotek SD-2100 Rechargeable In-ground Pet Fencing system is the least expensive rechargeable dog fence system on the market. It is reliable and durable.

Recharging the battery involves placing the collar in a cradle on top of the base station. The collar typically charges overnight and will hold a charge for a couple of weeks. There is a soft, yet sometimes annoying buzz made by the system during recharging.

The collar band includes a snap-type buckle which we find much more convenient than the belt-style buckles on the higher end Innotek models. Innotek also includes a reflective strip for night time visibility. The reflective strip helps owners monitor a dog's movement in the dark.

Innotek gives you a lifetime warranty on the SD-2100 which really means that they will give you a proper warranty for the first year and will assess a service charge (but not a parts charge) if you need repairs after the first year.

The Innotek SD-2100 comes with the same base station as the higher end Innotek models like the IUC-4100 and IUC-5100.

Overall the Innotek SD-2100 is a solid system. However, for a few more dollars you can upgrade to the IUC-4100 which includes a better rechargeable battery, compatibility with indoor zone pods, and a collar fitting assistance feature.
