Boundary kits allows you to expand the range beyond the quarter of an acre that the wire included in most dog fence systems.

To calculate how many kits you need first pace along the path of the boundary counting your steps as you go. Each of your paces is about three feet, so multiplying the number of steps by 3 will yield the total length of boundary wire necessary. Don't forget most systems include 500 feet of boundary wire.
